The resolutely contemporary decor nevertheless respects the original features of the building; a spiral staircase, stain-glass windows, parquet floors and the cornices of the ceilings. This highly successful combination of the old and new gives this holiday home an irresistible charm. Also to be noted are cooking classes offered by Nathalie Valmary, the owner of the house and the author of numerous cookery books.
